You're probably already doing CTEM: Looking past the acronyms and buzzwords
Richard Stocks, Robin Long
Synopsis
The field of security is a sea of acronyms, with more being added as quickly as analysts can make them up. What is CTEM? How about CAASM? Or ASM? Does CNAPP fit in there somewhere?
While it can seem like all of these new terms require you to implement entirely new technologies or programs, thankfully that's often not the case. Rather, it's usually possible to enhance or augment existing programs to cover the gaps.
Using CTEM (continuous threat exposure management) versus traditional vulnerability management as an example, this presentation will take you through the importance of understanding what you have now, what your desired end state is, and strategies to fill the gaps.
